Vision Statement
The Sandgate and Districts Chamber of Commerce has established a vision for Securing Sandgate’s Future, which involves: - sustaining development without environmental compromise, - fostering change which supports a vibrant urban village, - respecting our heritage for future generations, - growing and diversifying the community’s economic base, - supporting cultural initiatives for economic sustainability.

Meeting Schedule
Members meet, interact and conduct business at regular meetings and seminars. Social functions extend these networking opportunities and cement social bonds between members. Sandgate and Districts Chamber of Commerce plans to have bi-monthly meetings, informal member functions, and regular newsletters and event notification. On the third Monday of the Month, the Management Committee meets.


Chamber Office
The Chamber of Commerce operates an Office at 194 Seymour Street. The Chamber Office located centrally in Sandgate opposite the Sandgate Post Office and close to the Sandgate Railway Station. It provides a shop-front presence for the Chamber. The Office is staffed by volunteers and is open three days a week.


Feature Activities/Projects of the Chamber Bluewater Festival
Since 1997 the Sandgate and Districts Chamber of Commerce has hosted the annual Bluewater Festival which heralds the gathering of yachts for the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race. The Bluewater Festival program includes cultural and family events to the public, attracting people from all over South East Queensland. It is generously supported by many local businesses.
